Jr. NTR Biography Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) was born on 20th of MAy 1983 to N. Harikrishna and Shalini in Hyderabad. A.P. He is the grandson of the Late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who was a legendary actor and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. He is more popularly known as Jr. NTR or NTR Junior. He is fondly called as Tarak by his family influenced by his Grandfather NTR from his childhood and developed interest in cultural and social activities. He learned Kuchipudi dance during his School days and performed shows at various places both in India and abroad winning laurels and awards. He did his schooling at Vidyaranya (Hyderabad) and later to St Rakesh's Junior College. He has a sister and two brothers, Kalyan Ram and Janaki Ram. His uncle Balakrishna Nandamuri is also a famous Telugu actor. His first step into Tollywood was the movie " Bala Ramayanam", directed by Gunasekhar. He started as Lord Rama as a child artist in Bala Ramayanam, a role patented by Sr. NTR. Began his career as a child actor and dancer. He made his debut with film, Ninnu Choodalani, in 2001. It was Aadi that catapulated him in to the big league. Aadi had stood as blockbuster of the year 2002. His next big blockbuster simhadri stabilized his status as the next mass hero of tollywood.

Tarak owns a porsche 911 Carrera turbo, making him the only person in Andhra Pradesh to own a 911 Turbo, and the second actor in Tollywood to own a porsche, after Vishnu Babu, who owns a porsche Cayenne.
